Reducing Plastic Waste

ECOLAB have a long history of pioneering packaging technology, in some cases reducing waste from traditional packaging designs by 99%. In addition, ECOLAB were an early adopter of reusable containers for their concentrate products, as well as in the incorporation of post-consumer recycled plastic resin (PCR) into many of the packages and in 2020, ECOLAB saved more than 18 million pounds of plastic. In addition to reducing plastic waste and expanding reusable packaging programs, ECOLAB work to ensure the packages are readily recyclable and incorporate post-consumer plastic where possible.
